The Slope

Co-created by Desiree Akhavan and Ingrid Jungermann, “The Slope” is an award-winning web series that follows the lives of a lesbian couple navigating their way through modern-day Park Slope, Brooklyn. One year into their relationship, Ingrid and Desiree continue to hash out a power dynamic that ends up making them look homophobic, superficial and ultimately, perfect for one another.

Hey Desiree, I am so glad to have found you! I just read your article on the Lena D (can’t even remember her name!) and loved your eloquent sincerity. I soooooooooooooo identify with it what you have so well described.. I also watched Nose Job and loved it. Remember I had auditioned for it, and got called back! Great job and the actresses in it are both really good. Excellent. Moving Stories is my new short, it will be in Monaco this year, was in Cannes last May. Would love to reconnect and read for your future projects!
    Cheers!
